Mousey

New 'mousey'!! I've tried to get a bit more personality into this little chap. As you can see he is not textured and his colour will probably change, but he is looking more like a character now!

Here is my (very rough) first attempt at rendering fur on one of the characters of my final film; the mouse. As you can see, it hasn't been wholly successful!

As part of my research project I have successfully become a member of Strange Town Young Company, a theatre group based in Edinburgh. This is with a view to developing my acting skills and practising all the techniques that I have been researching for my final year film

Story - Check

The screenplay is now pretty much nailed down for my final year film. Working on characters and storyboards now!

Learning the basics

Well... this week Ronan and I are building up our team to work on our final year film! I've been checking out the competition from students in Canada, USA, Germany and France and to be perfectly honest, they have been taught animation properly and I have not. So I thought I'd try to start to set things straight!
